The 2010 Ford E-Series Truck. America's Favorite Full-Size Van 29 Years Running. Versatility Large Versatility
E-Series Wagon is designed for carrying people in spacious comfort. But if you need to haul cargo, remove the rear bench seats and take advantage of 271.3 cu. ft. of cargo space (in the Extended Length Wagon behind the 1st-row seats with 2nd-row bench seat removed). Passenger and load capacity are limited by weight and weight distribution.
Flex Fuel Capability
The 4.6L V8 (standard in E-150) and 5.4L V8 (standard in E-350 models) are the same Triton® engines as before, but they're now equipped with Flex Fuel Vehicle (FFV) capability. Both engines can run on unleaded gasoline, E85 (85% ethanol and 15% gasoline) or any mix of the two. So you can full fill up wherever you are, even if E85 isn't immediately available.
Technology AdvanceTrac™ with Roll Stability Control®
Every Ford E-Series wagon now comes equipped with standard AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™ (RSC®). It's the only stability control system with gyroscopic sensors measuring both vehicle roll and turning rates. Corner too quickly or swerve to avoid an object - and RSC® applies brake pressure and reduces engine power to help keep you under control. Remember that even advanced technology cannot overcome the laws of physics. It's always possible to lose control of a vehicle due to inappropriate driver input for the conditions.
6.8L Triton® V10 with TorqShift®
E-350 models now offer an optional 6.8L multi-valve Triton® V10 with TorqShift® 5-speed automatic transmission. The long-lasting, durable and proven TorqShift® is designed to handle the high-torque performance of big-bore engines like the 6.8L Triton. Ideal for towing the big Class III/IV trailers, TorqShift® includes a selectable Tow/Haul Mode that compensates for altitude, grade and load conditions.
Comfort Full-Size Van Comfort
For the highest level of traveling comfort, your choice is the E-Series XLT Premium E-150. Quad Captain's chairs with six-way power driver's seat. Overhead console, running boards and much more. The XLT Premium Package has many of the amenities you'd find in a luxurious van conversion. And speaking of van conversions, E-Series is also a popular choice for that avenue of luxury travel.
